    Fallout 3 code (from Fallout 4) not working


    Hi there,

    The code I received in my Fallout 4 game box fails to work when I try to redeem it, with the following error:

    Xbos-0x80153016

    From looking through the forum, this appears to be a region issue (I bought Fallout 4 in the UK but live in Switzerland). Can someone help me with this?

    Please be sure the region of your account is set to the correct region. Cross-region accounts can cause issues and aren't supported. If you haven't already check out the

    troubleshooter on this page     for that particular error you're getting Fallout 3 code (from Fallout 4) not working :)

    Hello! I bought The consol with fallout 4 cd at the time fallout 4 was relesed and I got the code for fallout 3 with it. Fallout 3 is an xbox 360 game from The start could that be a problem trying to download to xbox one?

    Makes no sence selling a box with fallout 4 to xbox one and a redeem code for fallout 3 to xbox 360 😑👈

    well i have seen reports from several people saying they could not use the code on 360.

    Region free games??? Purchase xbox in one country and buy games in another country.

    This seems no longer to be true.

    Games purchased from other regions will play if physical disk, but any connected download codes will not work.

    There are issues for example with the Gears of War 1-3 codes (included with Gears of War collection) and the Fallout 3 codes (that came with Fallout 4).
