Faliure to connect to wifi network

I just bought a new Xbox one s and on the initial startup it tells me that my WiFi password is wrong. I have confirmed that the password I'm typing in is correct and I have good signal from the router, because this is the first time I'm trying to connect
to WiFi it will not access anything else. I'm stuck in the second step of the startup. Any advice on what is happening?

Can't connect xbox 360 slim to a wireless network

I am trying to connect my xbox 360 slim to my wifi network but it doesn't work. My mac is emitting a wifi signal and my xbox can see it but can't connect to my wifi network. What is wrong?

Try heading to Settings>Network on the console, select "Go Offline", and then "Forget Network".

After that, power cycle the console and also unplug your router/modem for 5 mins to reset your network as well.

Once you've done that, head back to Settings>Network, select "Go Online", and try connecting to your wireless network with your password again. Any change?

if wired connection is working fine - use it

if u need to use WIFI connection - disable wifi networking on router, set new name (ssid) enable wifi networking from router (keep secure with wpa2/psk at least), SET Wifi Channel to default, and SET COUNTRY ! try to connect through wifi

Hi there,

simple question indeed, but as far as I know there is no technical details about that.

I do know that when a cable is connected you won't be able to select Wifi (connect to the wifi network) as network option.

And since as far as I know the Wifi option is only one that can connect to a wifi network, it in itself isn't broadcasting in a way that other devices can find or connect to the console via Wifi, as in it's not a hotspot etc.

Hello SS5SithLord, try to follow the procedures below.

The first is a clear cache

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

On my Windows7 Network and Sharing Center already set Home network, but zune still don`t connect to phone by wifi. Firewall disabled, home network set, wifi is working, zune shows up correct wifi ssid connected, but when i try to connect my phone Error
C00D07C9 appears.
