    Well, I have had an Xbox for many years and been continually subscribed to XBL for 11 years.

    After waiting for the new Xbox One X to release I rushed down to the store to pick up my pre ordered console., What joy as I was now able to give my Xbox one to my 10 year old sign allowing us to play online together. However 2 months later my
    Xbox One X started to go wrong, flickering screen, then bang Green pixel lines all across the screen.

    Changed the HDMI cables tried 4 new ones, followed the support desks advice and suggestions through live agent, but still even after factory reset no good.

    OK so repair was required I had accepted the fact that my console would be gone for several weeks and told my son don't worry it will be fixed. WRONG, the tech support told me that even though my console was still in warranty, because I was in
    Asia they could not provide a repair service, but if I had a friend in USA then I could sent my console to them and they would then have to apply for a repair service, WTF ?

    I told him, no, I have no friends in USA and I expect you to offer a repair service as your agreement states when purchasing the machine under the user terms and conditions. But they simply said sorry nothing we can do !!!!! Microsoft has no
    Service repair center in Asia.

    How can you [Mod Removed] at Xbox consider selling thousands of consoles through official and no official stores and websites, but then refuse to honor your agreement when it comes to repairing a faulty console?

    Now I understand why SONY are winning the console war here in Asia because Microsoft as always just want to screw you and take your money.

    Very unhappy and gutted to the core that I wasted my time effort and of course money on a black brick that is worth nothing, but a dust collector.

    Keep in mind the form does goto a human BUt they are obligated by pii requirements

    If you don't meet or exceed pii they cant hand over your account
