    Hello Evil_0ne,

    Some advice I would like to offer, if possible I'd recommend a wire connection for the best online experience, but if you can not hard wire, I would highly advise you port forward you Xbox/router. There are many guides on the internet to help with this, and
    should only take you about 5 minutes at most.

    Same thing. It's still connecting the the wifi but then failing to connect to the internet.

    Started about 2 months ago. Only use the xbox for netflix now because we don't own a smart tv!

    No changes to the router were made so not sure why all of a sudden it is making me restart it anytime I want to use the xbox but will check the settings to see if it is now set to static. Thanks 4 the help.

    Thanks for your question. How long ago did this start to happen? There has been some configuration change on your Router / Modem.

    Thanks all! Will try the static IP first and then try stringing a wire from the back of the house to the living room (not going to be easy)
