Getting "For this game, you need to be online", even though I am online and I own the game (although not playing on my Home console).

It's happening now for my other games, too. It's like the service is failing the license check.

    Xbox gaming services failing

Hello Troy, this is a common issue. I believe if you sign out and sign back in this problem may be solved, as said on an earlier post from 2018,

    Hi Billy,

This is a known issue for the past few days. Just simply sign out then back in, click the top right profile picture in the window, click your account, click Sign out then back in.

Let me know if you have any additional questions or a followthrough. Good luck.

    Free Online Play

Playstation has rumors going around that they are WORKING TOWARDS online play. But they are failing miserably. Honestly, xbox services are much better then any other gaming services in my opinion.
