    For the past few weeks I have been unable to play online in Forza Horizon 4. I have already been putting up with terrible ping issues because I'm in India and Xbox servers always connect to Europe instead of Southeast Asia. But now I can't even do that anymore.

    I get the "failed to resolve server address. check your DNS" error when I try to go online. My DNS settings are on automatic. Teredo is working as you can see and so is Xbox Networking. It's not the NAT type because I was able to play online with strict NAT before on FH4. Also my ISP doesn't allow changing router settings so I can't change my NAT anyway.

    Hey guys, I'm having the same problem.

    I've tried mostly every solution found on google.

    My NAT type is open, and it says that I'm connection for Xbox Live servers.

    sounds that your Problem is the NAT-TYPE! Maybe caused by new Updates... ;-)

    Try to change your Teredo-Clienttype in your WINDOWS-Group Policy.

    I am in USA and the diagnostic window on my xbox says I am connecting to western europe. Well that is the problem because I am not in Europe. If Microsoft tech support is involved then this will probably never get fixed: restart your computer, reinstall your software, don’t forget to give me a five star rating for helping you. I am going to try deleting my local game save and restoring from cloud. Maybe my settings got corrupted. Does anyone know if that will work or are the cloud saves corrupted?

    There are issues with the servers for Horizon 4 which are being investigated (not sure who is inestigating though, presumably Microsoft) so that likely is the reason for your issue.

    The DNS error message is erroneous as the issue doesn't seem related to DNS...I tried using the default DNS, Google DNS and Cloudflare DNS and none solved it....can't imagine there being an issue with all 3!
