failed to receive VIP rewards from purchased made - Xbox

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least 200 GBP or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

In the course of investigating your account, we see that you were eligible for our VIP Boost offer in February. However, in order to complete that offer, you were required to spend 30 GBP in total spending. Since your purchase in February was beneath this
amount, it did not complete the offer. We see that this purchase was very close though, and will move to adjust in the missing change manually. Once this is done, you will be at the one star level, and can start expecting payback on your MyVIP eligible non-offer
purchases. This star should appear by the end of next week.

Microsoft Rewards or Xbox Rewards? The Microsoft Rewards program is separate from the Xbox Rewards program so Xbox Rewards support would not be able to assist if that's what you're referring to.

If you are referring to the Xbox Rewards program, there are generally no offers to receive credits just for achievements. In order to earn credits for achievements, they have to be part of a specific offer on the site at the time. Generally the offers involve
purchasing a specific game that is eligible for the offer and then earning a set number of achievements in that game.

You may also be confusing the previous MyAchievements program with earning credits for achievements. MyAchievements was the previous version of the VIP program which ended September 2014 when the program switched to the current star levels. With MyAchievements
your VIP rebates were based on gamerscore and the rebates were for purchases made in the store, not for earning achievements.

In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time of purchase or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. All offers for earning credits are listed on the Missions page
of the Rewards site and the offers typically change each month so your purchases won't always be eligible for an offer. Based on support's answer to your other thread, your purchases have been counting towards your VIP status, but they were not eligible for
any offers at the time that you made the purchases and since you don't have a star level, you would not receive VIP rebates for those purchases.

Keep in mind that VIP rebates are calculated after the end of the month and given by the 15th of the next month. So if the purchases were made in February, you will not see the credits pending until mid-March.

Also keep in mind that subscriptions, like EA Access, can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid card. The currency you receive from the Rewards program or Xbox gift cards cannot be used to be purchase subscriptions.
