Failed to download content - Forza Motorsport

Hello everyone.

I downloaded the newest Forza Motorsport on PC yesterday since I was really looking forward to it. After launching the game, it tried to connect to Xbox Servers, but without success. I tried to reconnect multiple times but the result was the same. I tried verifying the game's files through the Game Pass app, nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, still nothing. The message is always the same. Failed to download content. Can anyone help me? Did anyone else countered the same issue?

P.S please don't bother asking questions/ suggesting solution like << Does your router operate smoothly or are you sure you are connected..>> I played all my games with the same pc and without any issues, besides Forza Motorsport.

Even though it can be frustrating, it's normal for basic questions to be asked because sometimes people haven't ensured that they've checked the fundamentals before seeking help.
Still, make sure that Windows and your drivers are up to date.

Since you're sure your connection is okay, it probably depends on an issue with the title. If I understand correctly, you've also tried repairing the game through the app. There's a beta tool that can fix some issues for PC games, it's called the Gaming Services Repair Tool for PC.

What version of forza, exactly, have you tried to download?

I am playing forza 4 on win 10 computer and the game plays fine as I am using an ASUS 8 core running at 11 gig the problem is there are 42 cars

I have coming to me that cannot download, and now I see that nothing from the XBOX download will load i keep getting

Code: 0x80073D12 on programs

and

Code: 0x8024402C on the 42 cars that all list the same error

Was just looking for help from someone.

During the night I did follow the suggested cure for the Code: 0x8024402C error by going into command prompt and entering in the suggested

addresses in the connection menu but it does not seem to have made any difference

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having trouble downloading Forza. Can you tell us what platform you are trying to install the game on is it a Windows 10 PC or on an Xbox One? Are you able to play
other games on the same computer? Have you made sure the device is up to date? Let us know with a reply a bit more information to determine how to best assist you.
