    failed to acquire server data Forza 7 PC


    Thank god there's a trial of this game as we can't have an online race with out "failed to acquire server data"

    Past all the tests with NAT and the like and followed loads of youtube tuts etc. Still nothing....

    What can we do?

    can anyone walk me through how to fix? i get teredo fail in settings, tried command prompt and it worked but didnt fix anything? help?

    This solution might help.

    First, if you open the Xbox app and navigate to Settings (The cog wheel at the bottom) > Networking, ensure that Xbox Multiplayer is enable to connect.If you see a connection issue here, we have a few possibilities.

    Ensure that your Windows Firewall is enabled and set todefault policies. I 'll link Xbox's official document on this below. This is relevant to us PC players due to the "Play Anywhere"campaign--as we connect to the same network.

    If you are still unable to connect after starting you Windows Firewall, launch command prompt as administrator, we 're going to utilize a few netsh commands.

    • C: \WINDOWS\ system32 > netsh
    • netsh > int teredo
    • netsh interface teredo > set state disabled
    • netsh interface teredo > int ipv6
    • netsh interface ipv6 > set teredo client

    Check the XBOX application > Settings > Xbox Multiplayer > Server Connectivity again.If this is connected, launch Forza 7 and attempt to join a hopper!

    If you're using a CONSOLE:

    Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

    Besides, ask them to put their console's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

    (To find the Xbox One IP address, press the Xbox button to open the dashboard, go to System > Settings > General > Network settings, then select Advanced settings.)
