    I noticed that my xbox had this new updated for me so i went ahead and downloaded it. The update had just started when my xbox restarted and wouldnt come back on. I waited a while and then unplugged it. let it sit for a bit and then tried to turn it back on. when i turned it back on i got an error e106. i tried resetting the console to factory settings again, erase everything option and still nothing, same e106 error. Someone mentioned that i needed to do an offline update to finish the update but i was unable to find the file on the xbox system update website. i checked here turns out its an Omega update. im not sure where to locate the file for this and would like some help getting my xbox up again. i called xbox support and they told me to post it here. thank you!

    did everything as stated

    console is on 10.0.18363.7196 (19h1_release_xbox_dev_1910.191016-1200)

    did the controller firmware update again, this time via cable, it's on 4.8.1908.0 once via xbox, after that i tried it on pc

    Well bad and good news. it got past the first update screen. Then it moved on to the bigger one and failed. it gave me this. : Can't process the update. If the problem persists, go to www.xbox.com/support

    insider forum    . As you need to be enrolled in the insider program for dev mode. You are most likely running updates not available to the public.

    xbox force update to 10.0.18363.7196 which is not installing

    I've done all of the things above and nothing works. The download completes without an issue. It gets stuck on the verification process and throws me that error.

    You should create your own thread so solutions are tailored to your specific issue.

    Check your network connection. Shutdown your console and remove the power cable while you Power cycle your network hardware.

    Wait until your network hardware is fully functional again before restoring power to your console and turn it on.

    Consider using a wired ethernet cable connection to your network hardware, as WiFi (wireless) may be subject to signal interference.
