    Factory reset not working


    Originally I couldn't download any games, and couldn't open any apps so I started a factory reset about 2 hours ago, and the xbox has no display and hasn't turned off at all and I don't want to unplug it and cause another problem. What should I do?

    I tried not to do that in case it bricked it, but after a while I just held the power button and it rebooted fine

    I tried not to do that in case it bricked it, but after a while I just held the power button and it rebooted fine

    Factory reset doesn’t work

    I found out what the actual issue is. The problem is with the blu ray drive. Looks like the update corrupted the firmware so the drive no longer works.

    I’ve already had the console serviced and it came back with the same issues I sent it in to have repaired. I’m a little hesitant to send it back in as I will be charged another repair fee.
