Factory reset deleted Halo MCC? How to get back

After I did a factory reset on my Xbox 1, I was able to install back most of my games except for Halo MCC. I tried all the accounts but there was no ready to install button and only the purchase option. I had bought the old 2014 version of the MCC with only Halo 1-4 but now I cant get it back? How am I supposed to get it back because the old version doesnt seem to be on the game store anymore, only the XS one which I cant install. None of the games I had were in the ready to install box and I had to manually search for them in the store to install them back, is it because the old MCC is no longer in the store? I have many accounts with random games on all of them but none of them had the MCC one

Hi Bryan, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please make sure to check your license for the game by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, we need to find the order for the game in that way we can proceed to validate your license.

Make sure to perform powercycle as well to re-sync your data.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Thanks for replying! I checked the order history on all of my accounts and all the games other than Halo MCC have appeared. I can try this powercycle thing but will it reset all the data and games inside?

I appreciate the update. If the order for the HALO MCC is not showing up it may mean that it's on a different account. You may have played it through Home Xbox sharing or it's on a physical disc game. Without the transaction for the game, we can't validate the ownership.

Oh, and the power cycle will not reset or delete any of your game files.

If you do a factory reset & select "delete everything",which you should do if you are selling it,then everything on your hard drive including Halo MCC will be deleted.

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some issues with Halo Reach.

These are some things you could try.

1) Power cycle:

- Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds, until it shuts down.

- Unplug the power cord from your console for 3 minutes.

- Plug everything back together and turn your console on.

2) Delete local saved data for Halo MCC:

- Go to My games & apps > Halo MCC > Manage Game and Add-ons > Saved data > Select your profile > Delete from Console.

- Launch the game again.

* If your console has been constantly connected to the Internet and the Xbox Network, your saved data for this game should be backed up on the cloud and ready to resync with your console the next time you launch Halo MCC.

3) Delete reserved space:

- Launch the game.

- Without quitting it, go to My games and apps > Halo MCC > Manage Game & add-ons > Saved data > if you see "Reserved Space", click on it and delete it.

- Launch the game again.

4) Do a soft factory reset keeping games and apps:

- Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset console > Keep games and apps.

* Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

5) Reinstall Halo Reach

6) Reinstall all of Halo MCC.
