    Fable III Patch - Where to download??


    Hello,

    I have a major problem with fable 3. The Game froze after the the thord tip in the second loading screen, so I updated the xBox 360 and narrowed the problem down to a corrupt sfe file. I want to make sure that something like this will never happen again
    but I can't find the Lionhead Patch (which was announced to solve saving issues) on XBox Live nor Lionheads homepage either.

    Can someone please help me?

    Does this happen every time you load your game, or are you currently stuck like this and afraid to turn off your console for fear of losing game progress? If it's the latter, that shouldn't be an issue as Fable 3 auto saves when you accomplish anything.
    If it's the former, you may be out of luck. Lionhead hasn't pushed an update for Fable 3 since 2010, and I can't imagine there will be any more changes to a game this old. You can see info on the "latest" patch here:

    Fable III, I was addicted to Fable II. but I can't get into Fable III.

    First off, you don't have to post this twice. Once will do. Anyway to the matter at hand. Have you tried deleting your cache and the game, then downloading 2 or 3 demos upto the size of Fable III (your talking about 4 or 5GB in size). Once you have the
    demos downloaded. Then redownload Fable III, then try playing the game. The reason to download the demos, is so Fable III will be downloaded to a different part of your storage device, which should hopefully fix your problem.

    ManicTrickster, I believe the Ambassador you were chatting with was referring to you selecting "Download to Xbox 360" again from the Xbox.com webpage where you purchased Fable III.

    The point of the demos: After you have deleted fable III, you then download the demos to the same space of the hard drive that Fable III was installed to. This space could have a bad sector on the drive which is causing the disc unreadale error. You can
    then redownload fable III to your xbox and hopefully to an error free part of the hard drive, which hopefully solves your problem.
