    Fable 3 activation code no longer works


    Game purchased from steam

    did work now does not I have not tried to access it for a couple of years due to PC issues

    Activation code fails steam have advised it is because GFWL no longer exists and that I should contact live again the person on xbox live chat has directed me here

    I used to have to log into windows live for it to work now this has changed to xbox live.

    Hey Xbox Live team,

    A couple of year ago I bought a copy of Fable 3 and played on my brothers computer for a few weeks. After that he moved out of the house and therefore he removed the game. Yesterday I bought my own gaming computer and I wanted to play Fable 3 again, and
    after an hour long installation process, I got this popup asking for an activation key. I have been searching everywhere but there is no activation key and my brother also does not have one anymore. The link in the popup (see below) directs to the xbox forms
    since games for windows live has been suspended. Is there a way to get the game back to work or not?? (Legally, not using cracks etc..)

    So is there a way to get the activation key again? The unlock request code is:

    Since you mentioned that you purchased the game through Steam, have you contacted Steam support about the issue you are experiencing yet? If so, what steps or suggestions did they provide to you?

    Hi basically steams view is the key is failing when activating against the live servers so the issue is with live. Which sounds right.

    Sorry just to add the code has not changed. When trying to authenticate the live part tells me it is already activated against another account, and yes I have tried all of mine before you ask ☺

    These DLCs are compatible but if im not mistaken, were the last 3 dlcs code activated? i had the GOTY Fable 3 and im sure they were codes right? they may be why they aren't associated with your account.
