Fable 2, xbox series x, no dialogue speech sound

I saved before entering the crucible, loaded my game up and it would not let me carry on the quest, conversation outside the gates would not start. Even skipping the conversation would not allow me into the crucible to proceed. Reload save and same again, restarted the quest and now I get no audio from scenes or even the title screen. I have hard reset, tried adjusting audio settings and uninstalled the game then reinstalled. Any ideas how to fix this? Really don't want to restart and lose the progress I've made

I am on the Xbox Series x.

Every other game I can delete but for Fable 2 it only shows me option to delete "reserved storage"

Fable 3 was a pretty fun game, and so was Fable 2. But Fable is sadly a dead series in my opinion. It died along with the xbox 360 and it might be revived at some point but probably not anytime soon.
