    I bought Fable 2 for download on my Xbox 360. For some reason, one of the three things happen; the download doesn’t go through at all, gets to around 80% then goes back to 0%, or kind of finishes downloading, but appears as corrupt in my storage device.
    I can even find it in my games list, but obviously it wont start. It tells me to insert the disc or a storage device (???). I’ve read through every thread about this problem made in the past. No answers at all, although I’ve seen Xbox Support reply to them,
    offering to help. So I’m kinda hoping for that. Every attempt I’ve made to download, I made sure to delete the old, corrupted version from my storage device. I’ve reset my Xbox. I can’t reset my internet, because I have apartment internet- no access to the
    router, but I’m almost 100% reseting my internet would not help. I’ve attempted this 2 hour download about 8 times. I’m afraid this issue is not on my side and someone from support, with the power to fix the download (somehow), needs to help. If nobody can
    get this working, I’ll need to refund it. I bought the game for the really high base price, $20. But I would much prefer that to be very, very last resort.

    Fable Trilogy download problems.

    I am also having the same issues, i have cleared my cache deleted the fable trilogy, re downloaded it but still i get the actual games downloading to about 70% then restarting at 0% and when its finally done fable anniversary is corrupt, fable 2 is incomplete
    and fable 3 is also corrupt.

    This was the most helpful response so far, I think.

    • I cleared the cache 5 times. Powered off, unplugged, waited two minutes; replugged, powered back on.
    • I deleted the corrupted download.
    • I cleared the cache again, powered off, unplugged, etc. again.
    • I downloaded over 10GBs of demos (every Lego title that exists, I think!), including for Fable 3. Since Fable 2 is 6.56 GB, I figured if a corrupted sector on the hard drive was to blame, I'd download files larger than the Fable 2 file size just to make
      sure.
    • I tried downloading the Fable 2 title again. Same corrupt result. Just for kicks, I tried downloading the DLC for it. The three DLC packs download fine.
    • I tried doing all of this AGAIN. Still corrupt.
      • In anger, I started playing Fable 3 Demo. [While interactions with NPCs are different, and a few mechanics have changed, it's almost the same game as Fable 2, with famous voice talent.]
      • I completed the demo for Fable 3; throwing caution to the wind, I bought Fable 3 and downloaded it successfully.
      • Fable 3 continues to work and I've been playing that game.
    • I don't think it's that my hard drive is bad.
    I think the Fable 2 available for Download on Xbox Live might be corrupted. I can't think of any other reason why it never works.

    Is there a way to contact Xbox Live about the corrupted download?

    I know the description says no refunds. The whole point of my buying the downloadable version was because Fable 2 has never been ported to PC.

    Fable 2 DLC issues

    I have the Fable 2 Collectors Edition Disc and play the game fine but I can't access my Xbox 360 special content. I added the code for the Fable 2 Master Chief Armor and sword on Fable 2 launch and was able to use on the Xbox 360 but can't access it on the
    Xbox One. The DLC isn't listed in the DLC menu and I can't access the Xbox One Xbox360 Emulator download history to download the content to the Xbox One.

    I am in the same boat. I am noticing that I can play Fable 2 and Gears of War 2 on my xbox 360 as digital downloads, but they do not show up on my Xbox One.
