    Fable 2 The Lost Chapters not launching from Steam


    I have had able 2 The Lost Chapters for a couple of years, purchased via Steam. I've installed, played and uninstalled several times now with no issues. Last time was about 6 months ago. Now, I've installed it again, but when I launch the game, it never loads up, but yet I can see it in the Task Manager, and Steam even shows it as running. I actually have to use Task Manager to force it closed.

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Restarted my laptop. Repaired game files with Steams Game Cache Integrity tool (it found 1 file but that still did not resolve) and when I try to reach their support in Steam, it redirects me to check with the games developers and sent me to Microsoft/Xbox. When I tried to reach THEIR support, I'm sent here, the forums. Seems like everyone is passing the buck and not wanting to assist. Am at a loss now and could use ANY help.

    Thanks for the reply, but I failed to mention this is on a Windows 7 machine, not Windows 10.

    xbox console only or via xcloud.

    or you can purchase fable anniversary, fable III and Fable the lost chapters on steam

    Yep, Fable: The Lost Chapters was a great game and Fable 2 and 3 were big disappointment IMO.
