Extra Xbox showing on my account

I ordered an Xbox Series X and registered it with my Microsoft account. This is my first Xbox and no one in my family has ever owned one. When I look at my devices now, I see my Series X and also an Xbox One. I don't know where the One came from. I know
my account is secure as I use two-factor authentication and regularly change my password, so I don't think my account's been compromised or anything.

When I click on the device and go to the Manage dropdown, I see the option to remove it but wanted to check before doing so since it showed up at the same time as my Series X did, so want to make sure it doesn't remove the Series X too.

It's probably a bug. For some users they have been shown the Xbox One instead of the Series X. I'm sure Microsoft are aware of the issue, and will be fixing it asap.

The extra payments are not, they only show up on my bank account

Unfortunately not, but you could try setting the console as the account's
Home Xbox (the one that the extra stuff appeared on) and see if it shows up on the other account.
