External Video Editing?

Can we not do that yet??? After they just announced that we could edit a video with the editor of our choice and re-upload it back??

Am i just not doing it right??

No, that would not work as you cannot use the iMac itself as an external monitor. The iMacs only have external video output and no video input to use as a separate monitor.

X1 supports external capture devices Confirmed!

But am i doing it right???? I rendered the video as an mp4 like how xbox clips are formated... but when I go to the game dvr section and hit share it gives me the error that it wont accept games that are not from the xbox store or windows store.. yet i edited
a game that i downloaded "FROM" my xbox clips..

Or is their another way to go about doing this?

Hi Rastigan,

The only videos that are eligible for upload is if they have been recorded using the Game DVR, if a video is taken from Game DVR and edited externally, the Xbox App will recognize the file as external and not allow it to be uploaded.
