External storage stopped working

    Hi there,

    if this keeps happening to the external storage device I would start to think that the external storage device might be having some (hardware) issues and could stop working at all any time soon.

    I personally would get a different external storage device to see what happens when using that one.

    I cannot play some games , my xbox one kicks me out

    I have a few games on the external storage and now I am trying to move games from my internal to my external but the game would not move.. says installation stopped. What else I can do? Should I buy a new external storage ?

    Installation stopped error

    I tried disconnecting my external storage, than performing a full factory reset and tried to install (without reconnecting my external storage) Assassins Creed IV Black Flag and it stopped at the exact same point of 313.65 MB.

    You can also try unplugging the external storage device, then power cycling the xbox, then reconnecting the external storage device and see of that works.

    Hi Ive recently purchased a 1TB external hd 3.0 and when it is plugged in I get a message on the screen saying external storage ready, then when im installing a game to the external hard drive it keeps saying installation stopped then it comes back up with
    external storage ready again this happens every 40 seconds or so could someone please help
