External storage not displayed

Discus and support External storage not displayed in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have an external hard drive connected to my console, able to play games on the hard drive but the drive itself is not displayed on my xbox storage....     External storage not displayed


    I have an external hard drive connected to my console, able to play games on the hard drive but the drive itself is not displayed on my xbox storage. Any suggestion to fix it?

    Power cycle with external not connected and after reboot reconnectnot to another usb.go to settings /system/storage and it should be there.

    I welcome you sir and thank you for coming to us. Sometimes just restart helps.

    Sometimes trying different usb port. But just follow all the steps in provided guide and you should be fine.

    I'd check the power on the external hard drive too. Make sure it's all plugged in to a working outlet and make sure it's switched on, and check all the plugs to the Xbox One to make sure it's hooked up properly. If it's still not connecting, it might be
    an issue with the hard drive itself. The Xbox One should pick it up and register it being there if it's hooked up and turned on. Good luck, I hope it fixes soon!
