    So I plugged a 32GB Toshiba USB into my Xbox One S and when I unplugged it from my console the option to open it remained. Is there a way to remove this option? Apologies if the 'Accessibility' isn't the correct category for this.

    Just to add, whenever you need to connect any cables to any equipment, TV, AVR, External HDD, etc to the console it's best practice if they are all powered off.

    Static discharge is detrimental to electronic components.
