External hdd not working after update

I'm sorry, but how does having a working external HDD then after an update a nonworking HDD constitute us having to do this BS?

I had a perfectly fine Xbox One with all my games on my external HDD and this morning after and update... A POS.

Please realize this is bigger than 1 person issue.

Did it, but still not works.

Xbox accepting external hdd as media. But when i try to format for games nothing happens.

Extenal hdd was working fine few days back.

Reset my console to factory setting but still same problem.

Facing same issue with other external hdd also.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have an issue with an external HD. We recommend formatting the drive on a PC make sure to format in NTFA format. Once formatted than try and connect to the console.

There's an ongoing issue with external HDD's after the last update.

Supposedly it's being worked on, but we've had no updates in days. Coincidentally, most people are reporting issues with Seagate external drives....

Had the games on external HDD.

After i uninstalled, the new download was in the internal HDD. Didn't work.

I copied the new installation to the external HDD, still nothing.
