It’s really annoying. Been trying to keep my BC games on my external but this happens every play session, especially with GTA V.

I’ve tried cleaning the drive, re formatting it to no avail. I’m not trying to rely on the 1 TB internal for all my games, and I’m wondering if this issue has been noticed.

Game will crash, controller blinks and takes 20 seconds to reconnect, notification saying External storage ready pops up when it was already in use.

I believe you can have up to 16tb of external space on the X1 and 2 external connected at once.

So I believe to get the max external HDD space you need 2 x 8tb external HDD

i have a 5tb external on my One

And on topic, you can have , at most, 2 x 32gb flash drives plugged in at once.

Xbox series x keeps crashing during mid-game while playing destiny 2.

I also experience frequent crashes in destiny 2 since light falls release on my Xbox series x. The only other game that constantly crashes is starfield. No other game crashes, example: dead by daylight, Diablo 4 or cyberpunk. Seems to be a hardware issue that Microsoft refuses to officially acknowledge.

Power issues on Xbox series x

Mine goes off after 2 to 3 hours of gameplay. Xbox ambassador advised me to carry out a soft reset on the console.

Believe it may be an issue with overheating. Both Xbox Series X games and normal games seem to be crashing for me.

    Missing Xbox gold game

Do you use an external HDD? I'm sure most do. I have a 4TB external as my main HDD with every Forza on it including 5. When you get Series X, it's as simple as unplugging the HDD and plugging it into the USB on the Series X. Done. All games will be playable
and benefit from some enhancements. (still need to see more info on this, exciting nonetheless)
