External HD problems since last Xbox One Update

Hello players, since my console recieve the last update, is unable to detect the External HD i have been using for the last few months, and also any other HD(with and without the XB format).

Yes, i have been through all that troubleshooting I read in other similar cases from the last 3-4 days.

Rebooting the console, unplug it for some minutes, tried on every port, and yes the Hd itself and the usb cable are perfectly good. There is no issues with usb flash drives so the ports are not the problem.

All this was tried several times.

If there is no solution by now, I post this just to get microsoft people to notice this issue.

Excerpt from Console doesn't detect external storage

Adjust the power management for storage if you’re in instant-on mode

Check your power settings. If you’re in instant-on mode:

Press the Xbox button
 to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > General >
Power mode & startup.
Confirm that your Power mode is set to
Instant-on.
Unselect the option When Xbox is off, turn off storage.
Restart your Xbox, and then go back to Settings and select
System > Storage to see if your device now appears in the list.

Its only powered via usb, before the issue was working correctly just like that

Is the console connected to a power board with other devices connected to it as well?

Try console in a separate power outlet. It may not be getting the correct operational power while connected to a power board.

Seen a few reports of this, the solution offered was to do a full shutdown and disconnect the HD. Restart the console and allow it to complete power up, then reconnect the HD.

I dont have the full info right now, beside its a Seagate 500gb, but since i tried a WD and a Samsung with same results, i dont think it is an HD issue.
