    External Hardrive is detected but doesnt work, HELP!!!


    My external hard drive will be detected but when I go to load games it give the error of taking to long and there are updates for some that just wont update. I tried to transfer to my internal but they wont move. What can I do to fix this?! it just started
    happening 2 days ago.

    External hard drive not formatting on Xbox One

    Hi

    When I added an external hard drive to my console the drive format was pretty quick.

    If you have run through all of the steps listed below reference the external hard drive nor being detected and it is still not being detected then I would try to obtain a replacement external hard drive and hopefully this one should work correctly.
