    External hardrive connecting and disconnecting repeatedly with the controller disconnecting...


    Been noticing external hardrive disconnecting and reconnecting notifications over and over after coming out of connected standby with the controller also disconnecting and reconnecting at the same time it seems to apply only to the drive connected to the front USB port that causes this as my two other external drives connected on rear ports don't do this I disabled the storage to be on while in standby but hasn't helped it still just happens randomly and unplugging the drive and replugging fixes for awhile

    Wont let me connect to xbox servers?

    I disconnected the external hardrive once the game was shifted to my console and have not plugged back in. when i restart I hold down my xbox controller button and press “restart console”. My headset and controller is still plugged into the USB if that is any help.

    The only thing connected is a External Harddrive and I've tried it with and without it and it'll still disconnect. I also can confirm now that the controller will disconnect even when wired in to the console.

    There isn't an update available for me at this time, and it checked this morning. Controllers are up to date as well. Hopefully an update appears and fixes the issue. Good luck with yours!

    I feel your pain I've had this issue since the last update.My situation is pretty much the same,I didn't change anything or add anything to my setup so it's not interference.Hopefully an update can resolve it.

    i've had this problem since the last update(i think thats when i started) and it will only work if i keep the controller within a foot of the console, it connects for like 10 minutes and then disconnects frequently and had searched far and wide for the answer
    to this, but most people just send the console in for repairs. Hoping the next update fixes this issue
