    External harddrive no longer working


    Anyone having issues with their external harddrive on Skip Ahead?

    I was playing fine last night and today I turned on my xbox today and had to uninstall some games to make room for new Destiny update. Uninstalled a couple of games fine and then started to update Destiny 2. Got 10gigs out of 22 gigs installed and then the update stopped so I restarted my xbox. After the restart now nothing works on my external harddrive.

    The xbox sees the drive and all of it's contents, but I can't install to it or uninstall from it. The drive itself is fine as I can hook it up to my PC as well and it sees it.

    Xbox Capture: Only recording the first 5 seconds

    You may need an external harddrive in order to capture longer videos of 1080 content.

    Hello Sam! Make sure that your console is updated. After ensuring it's updated, power cycle your console but holding the power button up to 10 seconds. After turning your Xbox back on, go to your storage setting and make sure the device is recognized by

    Now I'm not sure this will work for everyone but what i did was moved game from External harddrive to internal and it plays now. Then i just moved it back to my external harddrive.
