External hard drive question, please give me some advice.

I currently have the Xbox One S with TWO external hard drives, each 3TB. I have the Xbox X pre ordered and I was weighing my options for the new system regarding my storage. Should I continue to use the two 3TB of which I have about 300G left of available
space and delete some of the lesser games that I don't play anymore OR do I try to upgrade my storage capacity? I am finding some affordable drives ranging from 6TB to 8TB. So my question is are these even viable options for the Xbox X? I haven't seen
anything restricting the options for external hard drives with the new system but I would hate to purchase a new drive and come to find out its not usable. So if anyone has any info on external hard drives could you wonderful all powerful forum readers let
me know or at least point me in the right direction. Thank you. I didn't think a little flattery could hurt my cause.

Many Games will not load

Hello everyone,

Just a curious question are you guys installing on a external hard drive or internal hard drive? I have seen some external hard drive give this issue many time before hand as myself has had this issue in the past as well.

You can even find a 2TB or 4TB Xbox-branded Seagate drive now It should be purchasable from your country's Microsoft Store website:
www.microsoftstore.com under "Xbox", "Xbox Accessories".

there should be no problem with either of those sized drives, just as long as they are USB 3.

You might want to consider something larger than a 1TB . You can get 3+TB drives really inexpensive these days. Personally, I use a Seagate 3TB drive and I have been very satisfied with it. I also hear the Western Digital drives are good drives for the
Xbox One. The basic specs for the drives are USB 3.0 and 256GB or larger. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!
