    Explorer.exe seem reset itself while playing game after having freezing


    It's a little confusing how I explain it, but I'll explain what I can, so this is how every time I play games that are considered heavy, such as COD Modern Warfare 2019, Ghost of Tsushima, and others, I experience freezes which are quite severe, the freezes can even be up to 10 more seconds, strangely my PC specifications should have been a bit more capable even though there was a bit of a bottleneck from the CPU but I could even get 50 FPS on high graphics settings, but when I played in window mode suddenly the screen went black and came back as if it had just reset when explorer crashed and it crash my game, There was even a chance that my monitor screen showed the words "no signal" which was very strange even though all my hardware was still relatively new, I had just installed Windows, and I had tried downgrading the VGA driver but to no avail.

    But when I tried a game that was considered a bit light, like Warzone 3.0, it looked fine, even though the graphics settings were ultra, there were no incidents like the screen suddenly going black or severe freezing.
    I'm not sure the source is from one of my hardware devices such as the VGA, as I said, my device is still relatively new, even my VGA still has a seal before installing it on my PC.

    Explorer.exe 1002 (Application hang) on bootup

    I use windows 10, and a software called Ds4. (It basically allows a Play Station controller to work with window's Xbox Drivers) I assume that application is the cause, although I just recently learned about event viewer, and I'm still working out how to use it. When I click on the start menu three times, it automatically resets Explorer.exe, which doesn't fix it. It continues to hang. When I reset it manually, same issue. I can still open apps, but I need to run them manually through the Run bar (CMD, Event Viewer, File explorer, control panel, etc.) After approximately 10 mins of letting explorer.exe hang, it fixes itself.

    And just to be clear, is the game freezing when you play it or when you try to download it?

    If it’s freezing while you’re playing it, I would probably try deleting and reinstalling the game to see if that works. If it’s freezing up during download, or still continues to freeze while you’re playing it, I will try to do a hard reset on the console,
    leave it unplugged after that for a few minutes, and then try it again

    Apologies guys, it did freeze this morning and my wife was playing with the wires in the back while I was sleeping due to the freeze. I have run the system reset to factory since there was no picture. I will keep you posted as to if it freezes again. It

    Just reporting in that I have the exact same issue. Wife and I play Diablo 3 for about 3-4 hours and then watch TV before bed. After about 15-20 mins the TV will freeze and the Xbox hard resets itself. Seems to be an issue with Diablo 3, going to try
    the persistent storage fix and see if that does anything.

    i may have a fix for you. there are so many reasons for the game crashing. mine was fixed by closing explorer.exe in task manager. you can either do it manually or i can send you an app that does it for you. hope it fixes your problem.
    When do i close Explorer.exe is it before or after launching the game?
