    Expired warranty before it was supposed to expire


    I bought the Elite 2 controller by microsoft store on September 26, 2022 and should therefore have a warranty until September 26, 2024. This was now terminated on February 17, 2024, within the period I had it repaired at microsoft. Now my question is why the warranty has now expired? I have not spilled any liquid on the controller, nor have I damaged it in any way. As a back story I had it repaired once before because of stick drift and when I received it everything was fine for the first 1-2 months after that the left side of the controller opened at the seam by random. I then sent it back in for repair because it was still within the warranty period and could not have been caused by me. I had exams, so I hardly had time to use it at all - maybe 1-3 times . Unfortunately, I now had to find out that they had ended my warranty during the repair. Why and what can I do to get the rest of the warranty back?

    Please be sure to keep your proof of purchase. You will have to contact the Xbox Support team here https://support.xbox.com/contact-us for them to adjust your warranty information. Simply provide them your controller details and proof of purchase.

    Just got my Xbox back today and now the controller randomly disconnects.

    Send it back before the warranty expires. They sent you one with a defective wifi board. Google it, there are thousands of people stuck with this because there warranty expires.
