    Experiencing Differences in Xbox Series X Load In Times and Game Crashes


    I was able to secure two Day 1 Xbox Series X consoles on launch day (one for me and one for my girlfriend).

    Issue 1: When we game together on the same network I am experiencing insanely slow load in times compared to hers we're talking like 10 to 30 seconds worth of difference on loading into lobbies and this behavior is consistent across multiple games.

    Issue 2: Mine also has the unfortunate issue of games crashing at least once a week where the screen freezes and kicks me back to the dashboard. This is not just isolated to one game either and persists through multiple games. Hers has not seen this issue at all.

    Not sure if this is relevant in any way, I bought mine straight through Microsoft and hers was purchased through Best Buy.

    Has anyone else come across either issue or can recommend a fix? I greatly appreciate everyone's time.

    There is no extra content for the game I can navigate the menus but when I load up any race the game crashes every time. It does this on the series x only it works fine on Xbox x.

    yes and no, most juices will come out in both but with graphic differences, fps and load times
    The question is about if Series X games will work on an Xbox One X. It wasn't about graphics, resolutions, fps, load times, etc.

    It would just like to add that Series X|S games are developed to only use faster storage. Not only is this storage totally different to a mechanical hard drive, the way games are loaded is also different. In addition, the Xbox Series X|S hardware can leverage additional resources to load to games from internal SSD or external SSD's even faster, what Microsoft calls its Xbox 'Velocity Architecture'.

    As previously stated, you're never going to be able load your Xbox Series X games from an external hard drive. They're just too slow.
