    Experiences of Streaming xcloud to android over wifi


    First time posting here and only have tried 2 games, but here goes. I seem to get patchy performance over WiFi and decided to risk it playing over 4g. Seemed a lot more stable there. The initial load time for gears of war ultimate from launching in the app was at least over a minute and then in the game to finally get into gameplay was taking forever!

    Hi,

    It's not possible yet. Xcloud streaming is only available for Android phones and tablets. My guess is it will be available eventually for streaming to Windows 10. I don't know when that will be.

    When you say streaming can you clarify a bit so we can better help troubleshoot?

    Are you talking about streaming to Mixer or Twitch?

    Local streaming to the Windows 10 Console Companion App?

    Streaming from the beta xCloud service on Android or iOS?

    Streaming the beta remote Console Streaming on Android or iOS?

    Or a different method?

    Which ever it is will wildly change our ability to help, and where the best place to post might be. Let us know!

    You will be able to use this feature when xCloud launching. You will be able to streaming to other devices.

    Also, there is an app for Android and iOS called Onecast, maybe you should try.

    Is playing xbox games possible without a console? Is projectXcloud up, running and giving any services?

    Xcloud isn't available on PC yet.

    The only way to play via a PC/Laptop is via an Android emulator such as Bluestacks.

    How to Play Xbox Games on PC With BlueStacks and xCloud

    This should work fine on your laptop specs. Remember, Xcloud is a streaming service, all the graphics processing is done server side and sent to your device. That's why it can run on Android phones.

    Streaming should work fine on your laptop but it's not powerful enough to run PC Game Pass titles natively. Your machine is probably one of Dell's flagship 'Inspiron' range from about 3 years ago. Fine for basic productivity, awful for gaming.

    No not really. Xcloud is amazing and I'm excited, but I will still be taking my switch everytime I fly anywhere until airline wifi becomes good enough to stream games on
