    Maybe it will come with the Heist update. Then when you pull a heist, other players can become the cops and if they stop you, they get the money from the heist.

    Hey guys - this has been the story for a while now, but not everyone knows why the delay was set in place, or when heists will be re-scheduled.

    The Delay

    If you didn't notice, a month ago on GTA Online players were experiencing huge lagg in games - causing people to have their Xbox consoles crash, which is just bad for everyone. This was because of an infamous modder/youtuber known as Chrome
    x Mods     (filter it if you will, that's not his Xbox Live gamertag) who released his latest mod-menu to the modding community after receiving threats.

    Players were using his mod menu to attack players online - Chrome himself actually managed to sneak into @Swiftor's livestream on GTA and control the lobby, forcing Swiftor live on camera to be 'humped' by Chrome in front of 20,000 viewers
    - it was quite hysterical, but stupid.

    As a result, Rockstar delayed heists to fix the lagg issues and prevent many exploits - we received the Hipster Update as compensation, since Rockstar have always valued their servers and gameplay - a sacrifice, however, for players
    who wanted heists.

    The new release of heists

    As always, Rockstar have not 100% confirmed this but as many players have speculated, heists are taking longer to incorporate into Grand Theft Auto V so players cannot exploit them for money or RP, so it should be at least another month (July)
    until heists are introduced into Grand Theft Auto Online.
