Just experienced worst lag ever since the update today.. Makes me want to go back to xb360. Why do so many things work on the 360 that don't on the one..? Party invites, voice chat, user interface, voice messaging, lag? You would think that with the money
that gets thrown around to conceive, promote, and produce this console we would have an improved version of the xb360. I'm starting to feel that all we got is a windows 8 box trying to catch up to the gaming industry. I understand deadlines and whatnot, but
as consumers, I feel we all thought we were purchasing a superior product and not an inferior one. Also, we pay for XBL which has always made it the front runner in console gaming. It should work under any circumstances when our xbox network diag program says

I bought it this morning. Does good damage but fires kind of slow. Should be great when it is fully upgraded.

 

I really believe the PS4 launch caught the dev group not ready. I think MS had to release the XB1 early to avoid what they saw happen to the PS3. Especially since the difference in hardware power was as drastically diffferent as it was the last time. This
time though, MS did not have the advantage of having a more developement friendly architecture. as both archtectures are very similar.







Let's face it, any console upgrade is just a processing power upgrade. While I am not thrilled with either of the consoles power capabilities (I feel they should have gone a bit more powerful but I am only looking at what current tech is out there and where
it is going. There may be something in the pipe that is viable 5 years from now that blows current processors away), They are what they are. For pure gaming the PS4 wins currently. But if all I wanted was a more powerful box I would have stuck with PC gaming.
The PS4 feels like an upgraded PS3 end of story. The XB1 while it is having some hic-ups, has a much more next gen feel. While I am waiting for MS to get the dashboard and apps worked out, the gaming has been OK. Launch games are never overwhelming in my opinion.
And most of the gaming issues I have experienced have been directly related to the game and not the console. But in that regard, I haven't had any console issue (knock on wood, throwing salt over shoulder and shooting black cats from a distance).







I guess I am saying if at all possible, in this situation, be patient. If you are having hardware difficulties, by all means rant. But just remember that pretty much all early adopters end up being the beta testers to some extent. Sure it sucks but then,
those of us riding on the cutting edge of tech... well I think deep down, we love it. Plus it gives us a reason to complain!!!

 

Hi people now check this out....

(#1) I recently got the xb1 have purchased a 1tb and already almost filled it with games alone. Now I'm no cert tech but went to school and see more problems with todays command and mapping codes than ever before. This is causing hiccups in my game play
but still looks good and is enjoyable. On to the next subject of the one console...

(#2) The controller battery warning is horribly timed and acts like a bad code. only senses after or just as the batteries die and every set of 8 batteries will turn around and warn you in proper time...Fixable yes please ms do your job good no hack repairs
all new code please.

(#3) Imullators are affective and usefull... now the 360 is being commanded adding only games made on 360 will be the right choice as well as famous hits like Call Of Duty the hole series would b nice seeing I own all map packs for blk opps 1 and2. Then
ms may be smart and add the 1gen console games to the xb1 and make a imullator to run on my 360 as well that allows it to run more of the 1gen games than just main hits...

(#4) Now if you as ms haven't already figured it out the 360 console you so madly earned money on is going to be discontinued. Now it is getting old but to give the console a chance to be an amazing long living console and provide ms with money still and
people with the games they love. Ms can continue to provide indie games and other small games for download and make it as you must sign into the explorer to download it on the console. Seeing as this need to be made possible creating a new script or code to
allow the 360 to use the internet as a pc but host its own games not requiring a paid and programmed server to enjoy the content that was provided to the buyer. If ms does not provide this complex but possible update this may be provided by some one else who
would like to collect money on a past gen console that will still be profitable over many years.

(#5) Now this I belive is an important yet touchy subject. MODS and Hacked servers... Ms replies not our problem production companies.. Ea sports/Rock star Bla bla those companies its Ms job.... Hello can you please figure out why you can only place not
share the blame and solve these problems due to these disrespectful people. please Ms I'm asking for you to provide us with what we paid for and that's fair honest customer service. other wise please stop billing us for live because we have to provide our
own internet company to even access your content and servers. more $$$$$$$$$ we are getting upset about these things. so please contact me on gamer tag if need but remember I'm *** off at ms and other production companies for the lies and allowing
people to mod and hack things that effect other players and game outcomes negatively. I wouldn't be so upset if the mods and hacks were for Ai only and not PvP. good luck with the truth seeing as I have payed attention and a lot of $$$$$$ into my games and
consoles..

P.S. note here though I only have 5 xbox consoles in the house and have turned in purchasing new ones almost yearly I think you need a new person to come in and design your next cooling system. I have a awesome idea that can keep the console cleaner inside
( for high dust or pollution areas) and provide the console with a longer life==more $$$$$ more fun...
