    Expansion pack not downloading for the Sims 4


    I brought an expansion 'cats and dogs' on Xbox series X. But I cannot for the life of me get it to download on the actual game, its installed into the xbox itself but not the game. And when I uninstall the pack and reinstall it it cuts out downloading entirely.

    It doesnt tell me there are any errors, just stops downloading, and when it does download to the Xbox it still doesn’t register on the game. Can anyone help other than delete profile? As i have already tried this.

    1. Are you referring to this pack - Buy The Sims™ 4 Cats & Dogs | Xbox? Or were the pack purchased on different store?
    2. May we know if you have issues with other game in downloading packs?
    3. Do you have error message/code while installing the pack?

    Please know that games like Sims 4 may require completion of certain tasks before you can access your DLC, add-ons, or in-game currencies. Please check the following details:

    Thank you! I have bought some of the expansion packs on Sims 4 when we had an xbox. If i buy the PC version will I have to repurchase the expansions?

    You would think in 2016 digital downloads would be cheaper?

    Sometimes Digital stuff is cheaper. The Sims 4 expansion packs for PC on EA NZ's website are cheaper than what all retailers here are charging.
