    There are FTP apps and they download stuff just fine. There is no reason that a multi billion dollar company can’t do this. They removed the option to download instead of just making the right software for it. Microsoft already has the software for it so I don’t get why they can’t just move it to the Xbox.

    You bought a subsidized device, which is a game console, not a computer

    Had you purchased say, an Xbox Series X, retail price with standard margin would be well over $1000

    IF you wish to use it like a computer, you need to buy a computer. Game consoles are locked down to prevent malware and unauthorized programs from running.

    You are installing a third party app that is not supported by Microsoft.

    This is ridiculous. First Microsoft removes file explorer and now this. You guys are locking us down and not letting us use the device WE PAYED FOR. We own the device so we should be allowed to download stuff onto it. I’m moving away from Microsoft services, this is ludicrous.
