    Exchange physical disk for game download...?


    Is there any possible way to exchange my game disk for a "download" version off the xbox store?

    I had to purchase a regular disk because I had a retail gift card, however I find it annoying having to take out the disk when I want to switch games. I could always try to sell the game, then purchase it again on the store however I would loss money/pay
    more. I know there probably isn't a large demographic of users in the same situation but conceptually if microsoft allowed me to send in a disk in exchange for a redeeming download, they would in theory manufacture one less disk and make a profit off selling
    the used physical copies.

    Any thoughts?

    No there is no way to exchange a disc for a digital copy. All you could do is sell it and repurchase it.

    Well no it only applies to the 250 dollar collectors edition disks which are 250 bucks band came with the code and physsical guardian statue

    Limited edition consoles only come with the 100 dollar limited edition games which came with a physical disk if bought seperately

    Download only for consoles
