Everytime there is an xbox update, my xbox has to get factory reseted.

Every time XBOX releases an xbox system update, It asks me to update and all is good and well but in the middle of verifying the update it says "There was a problem with the update". Error code: 0X8B05000F I would usually go and fix this by doing the offline system update from the troubleshoot screen, but every time I do that my xbox gets factory reset. This happens every time xbox puts a new system update and im tired of having to redownload all my games and start again, please help.

Don't use a power board that has other devices connected to it. Plug the console into a separate wall socket for power.

If using a wired connection check the cable for any crush or fraying damage and replace if required. Make sure the cable is seated snugly in the gateway and console sockets.

If wireless, it may be signal interference. Try the 5Ghz channel if using 2.5 Ghz.

Depending on model of xbox (1, S, X, Series S, X) the console may need to be serviced and/or repaired.

Hello BogusCracker911, sorry to hear you've been having trouble.

How many times have you had to reset the console and which model Xbox One is it please? If you've had to reset every time you get an update then you may need to send the console in for repairs.

Simialar here, the same update stops everytime downloading. Already tried offline update with OSU1, OSU2 and also complete factory reset, but everytime after reset "it's update time" and you can't even skip it.

Please send me a new XBOX, because a repair with costs for +250€ is just nuts

Answer to myself:

Tried the update 3 weeks later again and it was successful. Maybe some broken update files at Microsoft update repository?!

Can not access trouble shooting menu either. It seems the update has bricked my Xbox. Can only turn on, off or reset it. How do I factory reset without being able to get to the menu?
