    Everything is suddenly laggy and some games wont open


    Yesterday when I was playing games, everything was fine and was running smoothly but since this morning games has gotten very laggy gaining from 5 to15 fps. I've looked up many tutorials and ask for help but none of them worked. for example yesterday i was playing roblox and nothing was wrong. then when I got back on the next day It would be really laggy and most of the time it wouldnt open, even playing the simplest games would run to 20 - 30 fps when before I had ran 60 fps. I've never came across this problem until now.

    lately there have been technical problems, please try again later today although they should be fixed but if the problem persists the best I can recommend is that you help xbox by reporting the problem through the following link:

    https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

    Click on the green "Report" button and fill in the information as detailed as possible.

    This way, Xbox will know that there is a problem and will be able to work to fix it as soon as possible.

    Another option I can recommend is if your problem is on pc. reinstall windows or check if your version is up to date as a last resort. I use windows 10 and have had no problems with anything, but I have noticed that windows 11 does, if so you could also report the problem through microsoft support at the following link.

    Navigate to the search bar and enter your problem. Press Enter or click "Get Help". Log in to access the support options. Choose the appropriate product, select the appropriate category and confirm your selection. The system will provide you with support options to help you further.

    Another thing to keep in mind is that the only ones who can take care of these types of problems are support.

    Mine has always been and still is open, however, I have had some real laggy games tonight. Players are moving slow then they shoot forward a few feet, a bit like rubber band lag.

    I am very sorry to know you are having such conveniences. Please do not worry about the situation because I am here to help you out!

    According to the explanation you have provided, I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. Therefore, you will only need to follow those simple troubleshooting steps that I will provide you with and your issue should be fixed.

    The following troubleshooting step will help you clear out your MAC address:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

    If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

    You could also try this troubleshooting step to clear any corrupted data from your device:

    1- Go to settings on your Xbox

    2- Select system

    3-Select storage

    4- Clear local saved games and your console will automatically restart

    Note: When doing this step please make sure that you always play online so that all your data is saved to the cloud

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    i just tried everything you said and still no dice :| games just wont work at all basically got a bricked xbox now that wont play games and i dont even know the cause oddly enough i can still play some original xbox games and watch netflix and stuff but
    any physical xbox 360 games are a no go all it says is open tray for any xbox360 game
