Every game I start closes to the dashboard.

Hi, I have a problem with my Xbox One console, which is that EVERY game I start either immediately closes to the dashboard, gets through some loading screens and then closes back to the dashboard, or, if I'm lucky, I get 2 seconds of gameplay in, before
it, guess what, closes and goes back to the dashboard.

Some history;

A couple of days ago I bought Fruit Ninja Kinect 2, and Goat Simulator.

I played Goat Simulator for a bit, which crashed on me. It crashed where the video freezes, as well as the audio, resulting in an annoying loud stuttering noise. That happened a couple of times, after which I decided to play some Borderlands 2. Which then
also started freezing / crashing for no reason after 15-20 minutes of playing.

The freezing / crashing actually got worse over time; yesterday I was still able to walk around in Borderlands for a few minutes, now it immediately closes to the dashboard on the title screen, the furthest I'll get is the menus.

Same thing goes for all games; both disc and digital. I tried playing Dragon Age: Inquisition (which I hadn't played in months), which either crashes immediately, or gets to the loading screen with the 3 cards. Even Child of Light, which I hadn't started
at all did it; first time it closed immediately, second time I got halfway through the intro, third time it crashed immediately again.

I have no idea what to do anymore. I have tried the following;

1. Pressed the power button for 10 seconds, unplugged the power brick.

2. Reconnecting the console from a power strip to a wall outlet.

3. Cleared all local savegames.

4. Removed my gamertag and restored it. (I also tried playing a game using my wife's gamertag, which results in the same issues)

5, Tried clearing the cache by clearing the Alternate MAC address.

6. The thing I didn't want to do; a factory reset.

Even the factory reset didn't do anything. I reset the console, re-installed Dragon Age, and it closes at the exact same points.

Needless to say, I'm annoyed and frustrated, because I just want to play some games. So, anyone have any solutions for this that doesn't involve sending in my console?

Yeah, after posting this, I decided to get on the support chat. The guy who helped me told me to send it in and created a repair order, so I'll be sending it in tomorrow.

Does Microsoft let you know what was wrong and / or repaired in order to fix the issue? Just curious, because I'll be adding a note with my console describing the issues I've encountered (and I have no idea if the support chat guy added any information with
the repair order, because the last thing I want is to have my console returned in the same state).
