Every player looks the same? what about custom gear?

I don't know if you notice it or not, but every player you run into looks the exact same. The enemy is the same character skin and gear. All with purple knee pads. What is up with that? Or is it just me an every friend I play with that noticed this?

I could care less about customization gear but it seems silly.

What are you excited about in mw3?

What makes me laugh is that last year when BLOPs came out everyone hated MW2 and never wanted to play it ever again and now look.

Mainly new game engine, gamebyro was getting boring and dated,even on pc with 100+ mods, every thing looks better now,i normally always play dark elf in ES but i think im gonna use wood elf and command some animals

 

Every so often you get supply drops.

You open these drop while in the main multiplayer level. They often have gear like helmets, trousers, tops etc. They are then added to the armoury. You can wear this gear so you can look different.

 

no matter what you make your character look like........everyone looks the same in the matches.......just ridiculous

 

exactly. I know all about the armory and supply drops. I know about the customization within the operators menu. But in game, everyone looks the same. You only look different in the lobby if you scroll over a player. All the custom gear is turned to a cookie
cutter player in the lobby. Sounds like Tennessee Shane noticed it too.

 

I don't know about you guys but this is no big deal. I am shooting at them not judging what the hell they are wearing. Lol. Go play the cod barbie edition if that is the case,

 

I would be willing to bet if you put in a paid option of a custom skin as a barbie doll, it would sell over a million in the first hour. Personally, I would pay 10 bucks to play as a giant Lego Mini fig.

 

People do look different, especially in the lobbies. In-game its harder to tell because of the pace and the action, but if you stop to inspect some corpses of players you'll see they look different.

The Gold EXO is especially noticeable.

 

I saw it mentioned that this is a hardcore issue....core players are seeing their cusTom characters...

 

Hardcore issue only. I suspect they did this because hardcore has friendly fire. I wish they'd bring back ricochet. I played some core and had no problems telling who the enemy team was.

 

If anybody cares they fixed this. Now your character is playable in Hardcore. Game is still horrible though.

 

I have noticed it too but not to an extreme. I think it gives a "basic" uniform to seperate sides during matches and even different maps have "two" different "teams". I think in the map Riot, one team is mostly wearing like a gold jumpsuit and gold mask.

Honestly, I didn't stay on very long. Horrible lag, tick rate still the same and still, still, "skill based matchmaking". I just can't believe they made a game that feels worse than MW3. If I get on again I will take a closer look.

 

I just recently upgraded to FIOS (fibre optic) connections with an 80 down and 80 up, but my connection is still a coin toss. There are some games I cant kill with a full clip and then the next game I can kill four or five guys with one clip. Sometimes the
bullets kill and sometimes not, but still a coin toss. When the connection is good I can take BF type damage and react and get away from it before dying and then the next game I get one bursted by every weapon. Thats CoD for the past few years.
