For port forwarding, I tried both cases with UPnP enabled and disabled. I had the same results in both cases, that I would get disconnected about 5 minutes after connecting.

I am able to connect every time without issue.

When I am disconnected, it is usually about 5 minutes into playing a game -- a disconnected message will pop up on the screen. I also left the Xbox in the dashboard for a while and I was disconnected after several minutes.

Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows LIVE both require very specific ports to be opened for optimal connections. I would definitely recommend either Port Forwarding or tunneling your Xbox 360 through your router's "DMZ". If you need assistance with that, I'd
recommend either http://www.portforward.com or to call 1-8004MYXBOX. If that doesn't resolve the issue, see if you can try a 'direct modem connection' wired.

To me, it sounds like the second console is interfering with your overall connection, and you may need to go into your router to adjust the settings in there.

Its not xbox. Its the maker of the games. I can't play but 39 seconds of cod before it lags out and disconnects. But on the other hand when I play gow, no lag just good fun. So I figure its the game makers.

Sounds just like the problem i've been having. The only difference is that I only have one XBox and it is hooked directly to my modem when i play. When i play my PS3, I unhook the cord from my XBox and plug it into my PS3 and it works fine. The problem is
my XBox but getting anyone to admit it or fix it has been an even bigger problem. I may be done with XBox.
