    Every day between 3am and 6am Eastern time I am unable to use my XBOX ONE


    It seems between the hours of 3 am and 6 am (to be more precise, it's 4 am - 6 am during Daylight Saving Time, 3 am - 5 am when it is not) EST give or take I am unable to access the XBOX live network. Therefore I cannot browse or launch Game Pass games, play cloud games on my XBOX, earn achievements, check the rewards app, many games won't start (either GwG or need updates that can't be done), I can't browse the store. I mean it's pretty much useless between these hours.

    3 am is also the time when my 'Achieve More Earn More' reward resets, and 6 am is when I have to call it a night. Then, I don't get home from work until around 12 am, and after 12 am I can't earn any 'Achieve More Earn More' points until 3 am. So, you see my dilemma.

    All of my other devices in my home have no issues between these hours. I have other The following ports are open on my router...

    I will always have an issue only between these hours and I will not get an open NAT, or be able to sign in to my profile on the XBOX.

    I have gone through the whole process of resetting my router over and over to no avail. I turn the UPnP on and off on the router. I did a soft reset of my console. Unplugged the XBOX from the wall and the back of the device. Unplugged the ethernet cable, tried different cables. The whole 9. Nothing works, and it's only an issue between 3 am and 6 am Eastern Time. And it's only on my XBOX. It makes absolutely no sense. Please try to make sense of it for me.

    It's not the ISP. I happen to have both Verizon Fios and Optimum. I switch between them and it happens on both. I am part of the Xbox preview program so I always have the latest firmware as well.

    Indeed, this is very strange, actually never see that happened before. What you could try to do is to factory reset it, and also, before you do that, and offline update on your console. If that didn't help, not sure if your console is the problem. :/

    Hi,

    sounds to me that you have to contact you internet provider.

    I had a similar issue with my old fritz-box router. Xbox had issues - PC had not.

    Since my provider gave me a new router, it works all fine.

    The strange thing is when I do a swap between the two ISPs it will work if I do a full reset of the switches for the night but the next day it will be the same issue again.

    Hi HenchmanC

    Firstly, I would mention that being in the Xbox Insider program doesn't mean you have the latest version. Having a preview built could mean you get more bugs than the production ring. So have this in mind. Saying that, there are no known listed bugs in any preview ring that would cause this.

    Secondly (in my opinion) resetting you console or doing an offline OS update wouldn't help in your situation. I would suggest this if you were seeing this issue at other times, but as this only happens between those time, I would agree with [EX] that this is down to your ISP and I would contact them. It sounds like they are using the hours that get little usage to make upgrades. This could even be one of their own sub-contractors.

    As this is not a wider issue (i.e. not being seen by many others) it does point to a unique situation with yourself and I would start with your ISP. Could your router/modem be updated at this time? A complete lack of NAT would suggest this could be the case.
