Every 360 era game seemingly stays open when played

This is out of genuine confusion.

Anytime I play any 360 era game such as Asura’s Wrath or Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance my Xbox Series S keeps showing me as playing that game, even if it is closed or I am playing something else.

I want to ask if anyone else has had this issue and if so, do they know a way to stop this from occurring again? As this is the fifth time I’ve had a 360 era game do this. Over the span of multiple console updates as well.

I wish to know if anyone else is struggling with this annoying little glitch. Thank you

If you are playing on backwards compatibility, this may be due to quick resume, disable it.

Turn on your Xbox Series X|S console and ensure you are signed in to your profile.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the Guide.

Navigate to the right and select the "Profile & System" tab.

In the Profile & System tab, select "Settings."

In the Settings menu, select "General."

Scroll down and select "Power Mode & Startup."

In the Power Mode & Startup menu, you will find the "Power Options" section. Select "Full Shutdown" instead of "Instant-On."

A warning message will appear informing you that Quick Resume will be turned off when using Full Shutdown. Select "Turn off Quick Resume" to confirm your choice.

Press the B button on your controller to go back to the main menu.

Finally, select "Restart Console" to apply the changes.

Yeah...once it is made, it stays that way. At least until MS decides to purge it for nonuse. Of which there have been conflicting data concerning when that will happen for the 360 era.

Note to anyone: If you played Legends of WrestleMania, this IS the same game just with "Attitude Era" world.

Tell you the truth I wish Legends had the same gameplay as every other WWE on the 360 ;(

A non-issue here. When the 360 dropped I thought it important at the time but that quickly faded once I played the new games on the 360, will miss my 360 days but It's a brand new era of gaming and I'm not looking back!

yes you do, the certain things that stayed locked you have to play through the Attitude Era mode,
