Ethernet not working after wake from sleep

Discus and support Ethernet not working after wake from sleep in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; In the last week anytime I wake from sleep my Series X it isn’t connected to network via Ethernet.     Ethernet not working after wake from sleep


    In the last week anytime I wake from sleep my Series X it isn’t connected to network via Ethernet. Every time if I reboot console it works again immediately. I have rebooted router that it is plugged into and all other devices are fine. I reported a problem via console but networking isn’t a choice so I had to do other. Any other reports? 10.0.25398.2538

    For what it's worth, PS4 will wake from sleep no problem on the same wifi. It's funny. After getting wifi to work again on xb1, upon a power off in instant on mode, it wont wake from the windows 10 app, and wont be connected to wifi again.. ugh.

    So it seems I found the problem. It turns out that my motherboard had a bios setting that disabled waking from USB and that’s what caused it to not work. After disabling that setting it works when my pc is in sleep mode

    Try this: Uninstall the game. Set the game to reinstall and immediately put the console in sleep mode. Try to let the console sleep during the entire installation. The install will go much faster and have reduced chance of error in sleep mode. After a bit,
    wake the console up and install the update. You may wish to put the console in sleep mode once the update starts. Again, this will make it update faster with reduced chance of error. Then wake the console up a bit later and see if that worked. It should work.
