ESRB update notifications are a thing now?

I am in in the same boat as you, but with a different notification bug. Anytime I receive a message, game download update, party invite, or achievement there would be no pop-up notifications and they won't even show in the notification bar. I have tried
every suggested fix with no luck and I have been dealing with this for over six months now. The only thing I have learn about this issue is that the NXOE title update is to be blamed. Before the NXOE, all the notification were running smoothly until that update
srcewed everything up.

Had the same thing since the April update, before that it worked perfectly fine. Clips don't always appear in the 'my clips section' after the notification says that it's been recorded, sometimes the notification doesn't even pop up at all now. Had one instance
where I had no sound on one clip as well....thought this update was supposed to improve DVR *sigh*

It has to do with the ESRB.

The ESRB charges a game developer $800 (read that again: EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!) to rate a game. Now, EA and Activision use $800 to blow their nose on, but most indie developers don't have $8, let alone $800, just to spend on having a game rated.

Online components are NOT required to be rated by the ESRB, as it isn't the developer's fault that the to-be-suspended gamer just used bad language. So, by requiring the games to go online, they can classify then as "online-only" games and avoid an ESRB
fee of $800.

I think the intention of the ratings systems is good, but it's too sloppy and outdated. You'll see that rating systems such as PEGI and ESRB differ due to location and culture. Given that, we all know that trying to compare things cross-culturally
will never end well.

A couple of years ago ESRB released an App about their ratings on PSP and wow, what a useless piece of garbage that was. I'd rather take the Pizza Hut App over ESRB App.

as of 2012 thanks to the esrb you cannot change the age of an account due to parental settings being enforced by law now

once set an age of an account canmot be changed it is that simple
