ESPN App: Not Working

Hi All,

I am having issues with my ESPN app. When I try to launch the app, it doesn't let watch anything.

Does it need and Xbox Live subscription and ESPN+ to work?

Hello Under,

Thanks for coming to the forums. It should work without having Xbox live or ESPN+. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If continue to have issues, and its the only app having issues. You may want to reach out to ESPN since the app is theirs.

I am having the exact same problem as justletmeplay. I'm trying to watch the Rose and Fiesta bowls, but all I get is the red intro screen for the ESPN app with the two circles. I can exit from it if I want, and netflix works fine. It's just the ESPN app.
The ESPN app is what sold us on TV through the Xbox instead of Cable, and now we're seriously reconsidering.

I uninstalled the apps and then after that did a factory reset and saved my game data apps.after the system was back up reinstalled both apps and they worked that should fix it.

Hi I'm a community ambassador the way that you can fix this is by uninstalling the apps then doing a hard reset you can do this by holding the power button on your console for 10 seconds hope this helps.
