Error with xbox live server side - billing

Hello,

NOVEMBER:

I bought by mistake Red Dead Redemption 2 through Store.

Then Microsoft refunded it to me.

Three days later I buy the physical disc.

Play it for the rest of November

DECEMBER:

Day 1/12 when I try to play the game I get the error 0x803f8007 when trying to play.

I contact support/billing and they tell me to delete my profile.

Then I can play one day more.

But tomorrow the same problem again.

And now it's not a workaround the trick of delete profile / resync.

CONCLUSION:

What the [Mod Removed-Profanity] is that? I own a game and I can't play it? Can you delete my metadata associated with that game on your servers? Or can you mark it as if a own the game? This is definetly nothing related to my "client" side
or profile.

Thanks for the reply. You can definitely clear the local saved games in the settings under storage. Now before doing this, lets discuss the potentials of losing game saves. To help clarify:

To play a game saved in the cloud on any console, your console must be connected to the Xbox Live servers. Games saved in the cloud cannot be played without a connection to the Internet.
Your Xbox profile needs to be downloaded to any console where you want to play a game saved in the cloud.

If your console is always connected to the network, your game saves should be aligned with the cloud saves on the server.

I recommend to try:

uninstall game
Settings > System > Storage > Clear Local Saved Games (Console will reboot)
install game

Try this and let us know the results.

Yes It recognizes the disc.

I did all these steps yesterdays, because those were the instructions led by your Chat support colleages.

It worked one day, I played for 24h, and today I can't again.

This is definetly a problem within the refund. My X1 asks Store if I own the game and Store answers "No, I refunded it". X1 and Store are unable to agree.

And it's strange that this happens at month change. Like some batch process in your side.

Can I try to delete reserved space without deleting cloud data? Will this fix the problem?

Yes, I deleted the game and reinstalled it. But only worked for 1 day (I did so before deleting profile and resync).

After that I could play for 1 day, but today I get the error again, and it's not a best practice to download 100GB of game every day to play.

I'm confused with your response, what do you mean by "deleting everywhere"? I just have the option "Delete reserved space". Can I try it without erasing cloud data as well?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with game and
error code 0x803f8007.

The error code 0x803f8007 may mean you no longer own the content or no longer have permission to access the content. For example, you can’t access a game because you received a refund for it, or your game pre-order was canceled.

The console seems to try to read the digital license. I recommend
re-installing the game,
power cycle the console, and install the game using the disc to help re-align the license.

Is the console recognizing the disc?
