    I can suggest you some things just to cover everything from the Windows side, but if the issue persist you may need to reach Capcom support:

    A. Open task manager > select the startup tab > disable all the programs listed there temporarily
    Restart the PC and try again

    B. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

    C. Create a new local administrator user in your PC and try from there

    D. Try uninstalling the most recent windows update, just in case it is the one causing conflicts

    Certainly.

    Dell G3 3590 Laptop

    CPU: Intel Core i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40 GHz

    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti w/ Max-Q Design

    RAM: 7.82 GB

    OS: Windows 10

    The issue is consistent only with this game.

    This is the first time the game has been downloaded and played on this computer.

    The game was downloaded directly through the Steam Store.

    As for solutions that I've tried, I read online that disabling your antivirus should work, but I've turned off all possible options on the Windows Security Virus & Threat Protection app (as it's currently the only anti-virus software on my computer at this moment, at least, to my knowledge) and it didn't work. I also read that updating which DirectInput driver you have should also work, but I found that I have the most up to date version (DirectX 12) and it has zero issues.

    What are your hardware specs? (country)
    Are you using windows 10 or 11?
    Is this happening only with this game or if you try a different game something similar happens?
    Is this the first time that you try to play this game or you were able to play it previously?
    Did you downloaded the game from Steam, Epic, or where?

    And, what did you tried so far to fix this
    In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    We are having the same issue too. Did you install the new Minecraft Update? Also the same error is now coming up when trying to launch Netflix and Amazon Video.
